Core Line

Ottan’s first fully commercialized material family, the Core Line is developed to balance design flexibility with industrial scale production. The collection brings together four distinct formulations.

Nutty & Nuts are developed from nut-based feedstocks. Nutty, made from hazelnut shells, offers warm brown tones and hardwood-like durability. Nuts blend hazelnut and pistachio shells, creating robust, wood like panels with distinctive natural textures.

Eggy & Moon share an eggshell foundation. Eggy is created from eggshells, offering natural beige tones and unique color variations, while Moon blends eggshells with pistachio shells to create refined neutral surfaces with enhanced strength.

Designed for scalability, Core Line materials are suited to mass production without losing their texture, performance, or visual character, working just as well in small interior projects as in large-scale applications.

Seasonal Line

The Seasonal Line builds on the Core Line's material qualities while using raw materials available in limited, seasonal quantities.

Unlike the Core Line, this collection embraces variability in sourcing, which can result in subtle color differences between batches. Made from green waste such as sawn grass, fallen leaves, and expired lentils in various colors, these materials reflect a more time bound approach to material production. With 50–72% upcycled content, the Seasonal Line represents a balance between material performance, sustainability, and natural variation.

Acoustic Line

The Acoustic Line focuses on high-performance acoustic wall panels, combining sound absorption with lightweight structure and natural surface texture.

Made from green waste streams such as malt husk, grass fibers, and hazelnut shells, the panels contain an average of 75% upcycled content, reflecting Ottan’s approach to sustainable acoustic  solutions.

Balancing technical acoustic performance with visual clarity, the Acoustic Line allows designers to manage sound effectively without compromising material expression or environmental responsibility.

Translucent Line

The Translucent Line focuses on translucency as a material property shaped by seasonal raw materials.

Made from upcycled food waste such as rice and lentils, the panels translate surplus materials into controlled, design-ready surfaces. Seasonal sourcing naturally introduces subtle variations in color and texture from batch to batch.

With approximately 75% upcycled content, the Translucent Line reflects Ottan’s ongoing work in food waste upcycling and circular material development. The collection is suited for interior and product applications where light, material expression, and responsible production intersect.

Stone Line

The Stone Line explores interior surfacing through robust panels with a textured, stone-like presence.

Developed using feedstocks such as expired rice, pistachio shells, and other agricultural by-products, the line reaches up to 85% upcycled content. The panels offer mechanical strength, tactile depth, and long-term durability, making them suitable for wall claddings, vertical surfaces, and architectural details.

The Stone Line offers a circular alternative to conventional stone while preserving strength and surface texture.
