Ottan Materials are developed through bio-based waste streams mostly from agriculture
industry such as eggshells, nutshells, agricultural residues, and food-industry by-products.
These natural ingredients form the foundation of our circular, design-forward surfaces.
We use only the highest-quality resins that are VOC-free, formaldehyde-free, and toxin-free.
The plant-based ratio of our binders varies by product line:
Core Line & Seasonal Line: up to 50% bio-resins
Stone Line: 35–65% plant-based binders
Acoustic Line: up to 100% bio-derived resin
We continuously develop our materials to be more sustainable while matching the
industry standards in durabilities. These ratios provide the latest state of our
developments’ optimal balance for performance, durability, and sustainability across
applications.

Yes, Ottan Materials are designed with circularity in it’s core.
